The mill at Plasencia since 1932

We have worked the same olive presses in Plasencia, Extremadura, since 1932. The fruit arrives from local groves to our mill, where we press extra virgin olive oil under cool temperature. It has a fresh green odor and a pale golden color that anchors every formula we prepare.

Our town sits in the north of Extremadura, surrounded by orchards that have supplied our family for generations. Nothing in our jars or bottles travels far from the source. We take the freshly pressed oil straight from the mill center to blend it into our organic skincare line.

What our olive oil carries into a cream

We press the fruit whole at the mill in Plasencia, keeping the natural fractions that give raw extra virgin oil its weight, color, and character on the skin.

01

Polyphenols

These are the natural plant compounds that give fresh-pressed oil its slight bite and deep green color. In the bottle, they help keep the cold-pressed fats stable against exposure to air, maintaining the integrity of the base over months on a shelf.

02

Squalene

Olives yield a lipid fraction that sits naturally in the unsaponifiable part of the oil. It has a light, dry slip between the fingers and integrates smoothly with other plant oils, helping a heavier balm or cream spread across dry patches without dragging.

03

Vitamin E

Tocopherols occur naturally inside the olive pulp and pass straight into the press. They work as an organic stabilizer for the lipids in our jars, protecting the raw oil from turning flat while adding a soft, coating feel to everyday balms and creams.

04

Oleic acid

This monounsaturated fatty acid makes up the largest share of our extra virgin olive oil. It gives our creams their dense texture and slow-absorbing richness, leaving a protective layer behind long after you work a small amount into the skin.

How to use the line across a day

We make four steps from morning to evening, using the extra virgin olive oil we press in Plasencia to clean, hydrate, and soften skin through everyday work.

  1. Step one

    Clear the day away

Pour our Micellar Water onto a cotton cloth to wipe away dust and oil after hours outside. The liquid leaves the face clean and fresh without drying.

  2. Step two

    Hydrate the face

Smooth Nourishing Moisturising Cream over clean skin. The cream comes from a glass jar, sinks in steadily, and carries the scent of olive leaf extract.

  3. Step three

    Seal in moisture

Press a few drops of Wonderful Repair Oil onto the face, neck, or dry patches. The dropper bottle lets you measure out what you need without waste.

  4. Step four

    Tend to small spots

Rub Antiox Hand Cream into dry knuckles from the tube, or press Natural Moisturising Lip Balm from its small tin onto chapped lips as needed.

Questions at the shelf

What makes an olive oil face cream different from others?

Our base comes from the olives we press here in Plasencia. The texture is richer than a standard water-heavy lotion, but it sinks into clean skin without leaving a wet sheen. A small amount from the jar covers the face and neck.

What do the organic certifications on these packages mean?

The labels mark independent verification of our formulas and sourcing. Cosmos Organic covers our Nourishing Moisturising Cream and the lip tins, while the Antiox Hand Cream carries ECO CERT. Both confirm the farming standards behind our plant ingredients.

Does Wonderful Repair Oil leave a heavy or greasy residue?

It uses extra virgin olive oil alongside chia, avocado, and argan. Three drops spread over damp skin absorb in a minute or two, leaving a dry finish rather than a slick film. You can use it on hair ends or dry elbows as well.

How does the metal lip balm tin behave when carried in a pocket?

The screw-top metal tin holds 15 grams and stays closed inside a pocket or bag. Cocoa butter and beeswax keep the balm solid in cool air, while body warmth softens it enough to swipe with a fingertip. It does not leak under normal heat.

Which product should someone start with if the line is new?

Most people pick up the Nourishing Moisturising Cream in the 60 ml glass jar. It shows how our mill oil works in a daily routine after washing with the micellar water. The small lip balm tin is another simple way to test the base.

How long does an open glass jar of face cream stay fresh?

We recommend finishing the jar within six months of taking off the seal. Keep the lid twisted tight and store it out of direct sunlight on a cool bathroom shelf. The plant oils keep their mild, grassy odor throughout that window.

Notes on our face cream

4 out of 5

I discovered an olive oil moisturizer in Barcelona, Spain. I've been looking for this product in the US. It is neither greasy or oily, but leaves a light surface (no sheen) that is soothing to dry skin.

From the reading room

Five pieces written at the mill about seals, containers, and what happens to a jar once the foil comes off. The rest of them wait in the reading room.

What the seals on our jars mean

We press olives in Plasencia, Extremadura, and we put the resulting oil into our skincare line, Olivita. Several of our items carry third-party seals on their labels. These marks show that an outside body checked our formulas, our supply chains, and our mill processes against set standards.

How an oil behaves on skin

Plant oils differ in weight, slip, and how long they stay on the surface. We bottle our repair oil in a 30 ml dropper bottle at the mill in Plasencia so you can measure small amounts by the drop, whether you use it on the face, through the ends of hair, or over dry patches on the body.

Olive oil from a mill in Extremadura

Around the Mediterranean, olive oil was kept on washstands long before it was put into jars. We press extra virgin olive oil in Plasencia, Extremadura, on the same floor where our family has worked since 1932. When a mill makes skincare, the work begins with the fruit rather than a chemical formulation.

Five formulas on a small shelf

That is the whole catalog. A glass jar of face cream, a wash of micellar water, a dropper of repair oil, a tube of hand cream, and a pocket tin of lip balm that also comes as a set of three. We make five formulas from our own press and keep the routine to what gets used.

The jars and tins sit quietly on a bathroom ledge or pack into a pocket for the day. Each one carries our oil alongside simple botanicals like shea, chia, and avocado. You can find all six listings through our retail partner when you are ready.
